Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026.
This policy explains what personal data Casino General (“we”) processes when you use casino-general.com, why, who receives it and what rights you have. The controller is the publisher of casino-general.com, established in the European Union. Publication director: Célia L. Martin. Contact for any question about your data: what@casino-general.com.
1. Data we process
| When | Data | Why | Legal basis (UK/EU GDPR) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Every visit | IP address, browser, pages requested, time. Recorded by our host in server logs. | Running and securing the site | Legitimate interests |
| You accept tracking | IP address, browser (user agent), language, referring page, request headers including cookies set by the tracker, the address and title of the page you view. | Measuring visits and which pages lead to clicks to casinos | Consent |
| You open a review with a “Visit” button, and when you click it | IP address, browser, language, referring page, request headers, the page, the casino and offer. | Creating the link to the casino, sending you there and recording the click so the casino can attribute a sign-up to us | Legitimate interests (being paid for referrals we make). Without your consent, our site stores nothing on your device for this. |
| A casino reports a result | A click ID and, if you sign up or deposit, the event type and commission amount. We do not receive your name, email or payment details from casinos. | Getting paid for referrals and checking our figures | Legitimate interests |
| You email us | Your email address and what you write | Answering you and correcting mistakes | Legitimate interests |
We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive data such as health information. We do not knowingly process data of anyone under 18.
2. Who receives your data
- Our click tracker (Keitaro) at tracker.slotsadmin.com, a self-hosted tracker we operate. It records visits and clicks as described above.
- Casinos and affiliate programmes you choose to visit. When you click a “Visit” button you leave our site; the casino receives your IP address and browser like any site you visit, plus a click ID so it can tell us whether the referral led to a sign-up. The casino’s own privacy policy applies from then on.
- Our host, HOSTING.XYZ LTD (registration no. HE 405755, Spyrou Kyprianou 61, SK House, 4003 Limassol, Cyprus), servers in Germany, as a processor.
- Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States), which delivers and protects the site, as a processor.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
We do not sell your data. Passing a click ID to a casino so we can be paid a commission may count as “sharing” under some US state laws (for example California). You can opt out of it by choosing Decline in the cookie banner or by sending a Global Privacy Control signal, which we treat as Decline.
3. International transfers
Some recipients are outside the UK and the European Economic Area, for example casinos licensed in Anjouan or Curaçao. Our site is hosted on servers in Germany. Cloudflare is based in the United States and is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension. Where we send data outside the UK/EEA ourselves, we use the safeguards the law requires, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
4. How long we keep it
- Server logs: 3 months, unless a security incident requires keeping them longer.
- Tracker visit and click records: 13 months, then deleted or made anonymous.
- Commission records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually 6 years.
- Emails: deleted once your request is dealt with, unless we need them to defend a legal claim.
- Your consent choice: stored in a cookie for 180 days.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or move it to another provider. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page; this does not affect processing that already happened. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests.
California and other US state residents can also ask what personal information we collect, ask us to delete it, and opt out of its sale or sharing. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
To use your rights, email what@casino-general.com. We reply within one month (45 days for US state requests). We may need to confirm your identity first.
You can complain to a data protection authority: in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk); in the EU, the authority in your country. We would appreciate the chance to fix the problem first.
6. Cookies
See our cookie policy for the full list.
7. Changes
We will update this page if what we do with your data changes, and show the date of the change at the top.
Gambling is entertainment, not a way to make money. Set a deposit limit before you play. If you have self-excluded in your country, an offshore casino will not honour it, so please do not use one to get around it.
