Our position: we do not recommend this casino. The only specific licence claim is Tobique: the named operator holds an active Tobique licence, but the register does not tie it to this casino, and other sites make contradictory claims. According to MightyTips, it also lacks a licence from Portugal's regulator, SRIJ, although it targets Portuguese players.

Licence and Who Runs It

The affiliate site MightyTips names the operator as Tronabriz Limitada, a Costa Rica company, and the regulator as the Tobique Gaming Commission, citing licence number 0000029. We checked the Tobique register on 30 October 2026: Tronabriz Limited holds an active licence, valid to 3 October 2027. The register shows no licence numbers or domains, so neither the number nor the link to betriviera.com is confirmed. A Costa Rica company alone is not a gambling licence under our methodology, and a Tobique licence the register does not tie to this casino is not enough to rely on.

Other low-quality sites claim Curacao, Malta Gaming Authority or French ARJEL licences. These claims contradict each other. We checked the Curaçao and MGA registers on 30 October 2026 and found no entry for Tronabriz or BetRiviera. The launch date is not published, and the official site returned an access error, so no licence statement was read first-hand.

We searched the Anjouan public register for this brand’s name and domain on 30 October 2026 and found no entry.

Red Flags We Found

• Not licensed by Portugal's SRIJ, according to MightyTips, though the site targets Portuguese players.

MightyTips gives two incompatible descriptions: a Portugal package of 200% up to EUR 15,000 plus 350 free spins over four deposits, and, elsewhere on the same page, 100% up to EUR 2,000 plus 200 free spins. The minimum deposit is EUR 20. Wagering is 40x on deposit and reload bonuses, with a maximum cash-out of 10x the bonus. The source does not say whether 40x applies to the bonus alone or to deposit plus bonus.

Worked example on the 100% offer, because the Portugal package does not say what the first deposit earns (slots at 100%, 96% RTP, 4% average loss). Deposit EUR 100, bonus EUR 100.

• If 40x applies to the bonus only: EUR 4,000 to bet, EUR 160 average loss, expected balance 100 + 100 – 160 = EUR 40.
• If 40x applies to deposit plus bonus: EUR 8,000 to bet, EUR 320 average loss, expected balance 100 + 100 – 320 = minus EUR 120.

Both land below the EUR 100 deposited, so on average the bonus costs money, and the 10x cash-out cap (EUR 1,000 here) limits the upside. We cannot tell which offer is current.
