PlayFina Review

Not yet tested Anjouan licence · in register

PlayFina is a casino run by Novatrix SRL with more than 11,000 games reported and very high AskGamblers ratings. We found its Anjouan licence in the register, but sources disagree on licensing and a self-exclusion complaint exists. Not yet tested, so no verdict until our own withdrawal test.

Good for: Readers who value a register-listed licence, a large game library and strong player ratings on AskGamblers.

Avoid if: You live in the UK, US, Ontario or New Brunswick, or object to 40x wagering.

Our Position

Not yet tested, so no verdict until our own withdrawal test. The licence is confirmed in the Anjouan register and ratings on AskGamblers are high. Two issues remain open: sources attribute the licence to different regulators, and a Casino.guru complaint says self-exclusion was not recognised.

Licence and Who Runs It

We checked the Anjouan public register on 30 October 2026. It lists licence ALSI-202508056-FI2 for Novatrix SRL, domain playfina.com, status 'valid', 25 August 2025 to 24 August 2027. Novatrix SRL, registered in Costa Rica, is also the operator named by other sources.

Those sources are less consistent on the licence, attributing it variously to Tobique (an offshore regulator), Curacao and Anjouan, and a search summary of the terms mentions a licence number of 0000002. We could not read the terms directly because the page returned an error. The casino is listed as launched in 2022, which predates the register entry's start date, and we cannot explain the gap.

Red Flags We Found

  • A Casino.guru complaint says self-exclusion was not recognised, with a reported loss of EUR 700. We saw this only in a search snippet and have not verified it.
  • Licence attribution differs between sources (Tobique, Curacao, Anjouan).
  • AskGamblers complaints include repeated identity and document requests before withdrawals.

Welcome Bonus: What It Is Really Worth

The first deposit offer is 100% up to EUR 300 plus 200 free spins, with later deposit matches of 40% to 80%. Wagering is 40x the bonus, meaning you must bet 40 times the bonus amount. No minimum deposit or maximum cashout figure is published.

Worked example, assuming a EUR 100 deposit, slots at 100% and an RTP (return to player) of 96%: the bonus is EUR 100, so at 40x you must bet EUR 4,000. The average loss at 4% is EUR 160, and the expected balance is EUR 200 minus EUR 160, or about EUR 40. That is below the EUR 100 deposited, so on average the bonus costs money. We found no wagering rules for the free spins.

Deposits and Withdrawals

Payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Interac, Paysafecard, MiFinity and bank wire, with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether and Litecoin for crypto. In total, 25 or more payment options are reported. Accepted currencies are not confirmed.

AskGamblers gives stated timings of 0 to 24 hours for e-wallets, 0 to 1 hour for crypto, 1 to 5 days for cards and 3 to 10 days for bank transfers. Limits are EUR 2,000 per day, EUR 5,000 per week and EUR 20,000 per month, with a EUR 20 minimum withdrawal. Besides repeated identity-document requests, complaints on AskGamblers concern pending or cancelled withdrawals, an uncredited Paysafecard deposit and an ignored account-closure request.

Games and Software

Casino.org cites more than 11,000 games, and 12,000 plus on its Canadian site. Providers include NetEnt, Pragmatic Play, Evolution Gaming, Play'n GO, Nolimit City, Playtech and Hacksaw Gaming, and a live casino is offered. Sportsbook and mobile details are not confirmed. Support is 24/7 live chat and email, with no phone line, and AskGamblers lists English only.

Who Can Play

The casino's terms, as summarised by a search result, exclude the USA, the United Kingdom, Ontario and New Brunswick in Canada, Belgium, Greece and Malta, among others; we did not read the full list. On that basis, UK and US players are excluded, as are those in Ontario and New Brunswick. Australia, Ireland and New Zealand are unknown.

What Players and Other Sites Say

According to AskGamblers, PlayFina has a CasinoRank of 8.6/10 and a player rating of 9.7/10 from 1,058 reviews, alongside 10 recorded complaints, mostly about payments. Casino.org rates it 4.4/5 and LCB 3.7/5.

The Casino.guru complaint about self-exclusion not being recognised is a single report, but it is the kind of issue that matters for anyone who has self-excluded.

Our Deposit and Withdrawal Test

We have not yet made a real-money deposit and withdrawal at PlayFina. Until we do, PlayFina has no score or rank, and nothing on this page describes our own experience of playing there.

The facts in this review come from the regulator's public register, where we confirmed its licence, from the casino's own terms and from public player reports, each listed under Sources. When we test PlayFina, this section will give the date of the test, the payment method, the time it took to receive the withdrawal, the verification steps and how support answered.

Bottom Line

PlayFina combines a register-listed licence, strong AskGamblers scores and fast stated crypto payouts with 40x wagering, inconsistent licence attribution elsewhere and an unresolved self-exclusion complaint. We give no verdict until our own withdrawal test.

Set a deposit limit before you play. Self-exclusion in your own country is not honoured by offshore casinos.

FAQ

Is PlayFina licensed?

The Anjouan public register, checked on 30 October 2026, lists licence ALSI-202508056-FI2 for Novatrix SRL on playfina.com. Other sources name Tobique or Curacao instead, so attribution is inconsistent.

Can UK players use PlayFina?

No. The UK, US, Ontario and New Brunswick are among the restricted jurisdictions listed in a summary of the casino's terms.

How fast are PlayFina withdrawals?

AskGamblers gives 0 to 24 hours for e-wallets, 0 to 1 hour for crypto, 1 to 5 days for cards and 3 to 10 days for bank transfers. We have not tested these.

Has PlayFina ignored self-exclusion?

One Casino.guru complaint says so, with a reported EUR 700 loss. We have seen it only as a snippet and cannot verify it.
