Vegas Hero Casino Review
Vegas Hero is a name that now covers two brands: a UK- and Malta-licensed casino that closed in 2022-23, and a 2025 relaunch under a Costa Rica company. We could not verify a licence for the relaunch. Our position: we do not recommend this casino.
Avoid if: you want a verified licence, clear withdrawal terms or a site that is plainly still operating
Our Position
Our position: we do not recommend this casino. The original Vegas Hero closed after insolvency and a licence suspension, and the current brand is run by a different company with no verifiable licence and a poor complaint record on AskGamblers.
This review uses published information and third-party reports. We could not confirm that vegashero.com is currently operating.
Licence and Who Runs It
There are two incarnations of the brand. The original Vegas Hero was run by Genesis Global Limited and licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority, according to SlotCatalog. It launched in 2017 and closed in 2022, or January 2023 per LCB. LCB attributes the closure to insolvency and a licence suspension.
The current listing on AskGamblers is operated by Lumina Holdings Limitada, which also runs Casoola, and states a Costa Rica gambling commission as the regulator. It launched in 2025. We found no licence number and could not verify the claim, and the old UKGC and MGA licences were held by a different operator. Search results that mention UKGC, MGA or Curacao licences are SEO content and unreliable. LCB lists Magius as a sister site.
We searched the Anjouan public register for this brand’s name and domain on 30 October 2026 and found no entry.
Red Flags We Found
- The legacy casino closed in 2022-January 2023 after insolvency and a licence suspension (per LCB), and the new brand is a different operator without a verifiable licence.
- vegashero.com refused connections from our research tool, and Trustpilot says the site has closed, so its operating status is unclear.
- Casino Guru complaints from 2025-2026 (seen only as search snippets) allege that the brand targets UK players in GBP outside the UK licensing system and cancels withdrawals or closes accounts.
- AskGamblers: 11 complaints and a CasinoRank of 4.2/10.
Welcome Bonus: What It Is Really Worth
The offer is 100% up to EUR 500 plus 200 free spins and one 'Bonus Crab'. The minimum deposit is EUR 10. Wagering is 35x (deposit plus bonus), meaning you bet 35 times the deposit and bonus together. A maximum cashout is not published.
Worked example with a EUR 100 deposit, slots at 100% and 96% RTP (return to player). The bonus is EUR 100. You must bet (EUR 100 + EUR 100) x 35 = EUR 7,000. At a 4% average loss that costs about EUR 280, so the expected balance is EUR 200 – EUR 280 = about minus EUR 80. In other words, on average the wagering would use up both the deposit and the bonus, so the bonus costs money.
Free spins and the Bonus Crab are not part of this calculation.
Deposits and Withdrawals
Methods include Mastercard, Paysafecard, bank wire, Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity and Zimpler, plus cryptocurrencies, around 18 deposit methods in all. The coins are not itemised and the currencies are not listed.
Withdrawal times are not published. Limits are EUR 500 a day and EUR 7,000 a month, although AskGamblers' text also says withdrawals are capped at EUR 5,000 for most methods and depend on VIP level. The finance department works Monday to Friday, 6am to 5pm GMT. AskGamblers complaints cite KYC delays.
Games and Software
The library is described as thousands of games from 56 providers, including NetEnt, Playtech, Evolution and Hacksaw Gaming, with a live casino. A sportsbook and a mobile app are not confirmed.
Who Can Play
No restricted countries are published in our sources, so no market can be confirmed as accepted or excluded. Given the Casino Guru allegations about UK players, check local rules before registering. Support is 24/7 live chat and email; finance works weekdays only.
What Players and Other Sites Say
AskGamblers gives a CasinoRank of 4.2/10 and a player rating of 1/10 from just 2 reviews. Of 11 complaints, 4 were resolved, mostly about delayed withdrawals, KYC and self-exclusion, with an average response of 3 days.
Trustpilot shows 263 reviews for vegashero.com without a displayed score and says the site has closed. Reviews describe withdrawal delays of weeks, repeated cancellations and scam accusations, but these belong to the legacy era. LCB gives 2.8/5 from 46 votes.
Our Deposit and Withdrawal Test
We have not yet made a real-money deposit and withdrawal at VegasHero. Until we do, VegasHero has no score or rank, and nothing on this page describes our own experience of playing there.
The facts in this review come from our search of the licence register, where we could not confirm its licence, from the casino's own terms and from public player reports, each listed under Sources. When we test VegasHero, this section will give the date of the test, the payment method, the time it took to receive the withdrawal, the verification steps and how support answered.
Bottom Line
The Vegas Hero name now covers a closed, formerly licensed casino and an unverified relaunch with a poor complaint record. We do not recommend it.
Wherever you gamble, set a deposit limit before you start, and remember that offshore casinos do not honour the self-exclusion scheme in your own country.
