No crypto casino in our data is truly anonymous. Paying with crypto keeps your bank out of the payment, but it does not stop the casino from asking who you are. Every casino whose ID rules appear in our sources says it can ask for documents, most often before your first withdrawal. If you cannot provide them, your winnings can be held or cancelled.
We have not tested any of these casinos ourselves. The facts below come from the casinos’ own terms and from named review sites, and we say which source each one comes from.
Anonymous, no-KYC and low-KYC: what the labels mean
Sites that list “anonymous” casinos use three labels, often loosely. KYC stands for “know your customer”, the identity checks casinos run to meet anti-money-laundering rules.
| Label | What you usually give at sign-up | When documents may still be asked for |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous | An email address or username, sometimes only a crypto wallet | At a withdrawal, above a threshold, or at any time the terms allow |
| No-KYC | Email and password, often also name, date of birth and country | Usually at the first withdrawal or when your totals pass a set amount |
| Low-KYC | Basic personal details | Before larger withdrawals, with full checks later |
In practice all three describe the same thing: checks that are delayed, not removed. None of the terms we have read promise that documents will never be needed.
Why casinos check at all
A casino that holds any licence is expected to know its customers. It must keep under-age players out, follow anti-money-laundering rules and respect its list of restricted countries. Offshore regulators set lighter rules than national ones, but the casino still needs to know who it is paying. That is why the check usually arrives with the first withdrawal: it is the moment money leaves the casino.
What a crypto casino still knows about you
Even with an email-only sign-up, a casino collects data from your first visit:
- Your connection. Your IP address and the device and browser you use.
- Your wallet addresses. The addresses you deposit from and withdraw to are linked to your account.
- Your history. Every bet, deposit and withdrawal is recorded.
- The public blockchain. Bitcoin, Ethereum and most other coins are pseudonymous, not private. Anyone can follow transfers between addresses, and an exchange that knows your identity can link them to you.
Privacy coins such as Monero hide more on the blockchain, but the casino still decides when to ask for ID. Rolletto and Velobet both list Monero, and LCB says both still ask for ID, proof of address and video verification.
What triggers an ID check
Casino terms and review sites point to the same set of triggers:
- Your first withdrawal, or any withdrawal above a set amount.
- Deposits or withdrawals that add up past a threshold over time.
- Withdrawing to a different wallet or method than the one you deposited with.
- A bonus review, for example when the casino suspects more than one account.
- Activity that the casino’s anti-money-laundering checks flag as unusual.
- Random checks, which many terms allow at any time.
Our data shows what these rules look like in practice. GreatSlots’ terms (section 5.4) add checks from EUR/USD 5,000 in single or cumulative deposits or withdrawals, and possibly at lower amounts or at random. LCB reports that NikaCasino withdrawals above €1,250 may trigger extra checks, to be completed within 48 hours.
How long verification takes
Stated times vary widely. LCB gives 0–24 hours at Luckygem, 0–2 days at Velobet and 2–3 days at Rolletto. AskGamblers gives 1–10 days at Dudespin, and LCB says checks at Crownslots may take up to 30 business days. These are the casinos’ or the reviewers’ figures, not times we have measured. A withdrawal usually waits until the check is finished.
How we chose
We started from the 58 casinos in our database (see how we review). For this page we kept casinos that list crypto payments and whose ID-check rules are described in the casino’s terms or by a named review site. We left out brands whose official site we could not confirm and casinos that have closed.
“Licence confirmed” means we found the casino’s own domain in the Anjouan public licence register on 30 October 2026, with a licence still in date, as set out in our offshore casino licence audit. “No” means we could not confirm a licence. The Curaçao and Tobique registers cannot be searched as a full list, so those claims are unchecked, not proven false.

What happens if you cannot or will not verify
If you do not send the documents asked for, the casino can hold your withdrawal, cancel bonus winnings or close the account. SpinAlto’s terms, as reported by LCB, allow bonus winnings to be confiscated if KYC documents are not sent within 40 days. Casino Guru records complaints about Bino.bet closing accounts and confiscating funds. Most crypto casinos in our data hold an offshore licence or none we could confirm, so there may be no regulator to take a complaint to.
Never try to pass a check with someone else’s documents or details, or with edited ones. It breaks every casino’s terms and can end with a closed account and lost funds.
What privacy you can reasonably expect
The realistic goal is control over where your data goes, not hiding it. Before you sign up:
- Check the licence first. A casino you can find in a register has someone who answers for how it handles your documents.
- Read the privacy policy to see what is stored, for how long and who it is shared with.
- Read the KYC section of the terms, so a document request at withdrawal does not come as a surprise.
- Use a unique password and two-factor sign-in if the casino offers it.
- Keep your own record of deposits, withdrawals and wallet addresses.
What to watch out for
- “No KYC” usually means “not yet”. Sign-up may need only an email, but the check comes later, often when you want your money.
- Crypto payments are hard to reverse. A blockchain transfer cannot be charged back through your bank, and coins sent to a wrong address or network are usually lost.
- Weak licences mean weak protection. An anonymous sign-up is little comfort if the casino can keep your balance and no one has to answer for it.

FAQ
Are anonymous crypto casinos really anonymous?
No. They collect your email, IP address, device data and wallet addresses from the start, and they keep the right to ask for ID. Blockchain transfers can also be traced.
Is there a crypto casino with no KYC at all?
Not in our data. Every casino whose ID rules we found says it can ask for documents, usually before a withdrawal and sometimes at any time.
Can I withdraw winnings without verification?
A small first withdrawal sometimes goes through without documents, but you cannot count on it. Thresholds such as GreatSlots’ EUR/USD 5,000 or NikaCasino’s €1,250 can apply, and many terms allow checks at any amount.
What documents do they ask for?
Usually a passport, ID card or driving licence, a proof of address and proof that the payment method or wallet is yours. Several casinos in our data also ask for a selfie, and some for a video or phone check.
Does paying in Monero make me anonymous?
No. A privacy coin can hide details on the blockchain, but the casino can still require ID before it pays out, as the Rolletto and Velobet rules show.
Can a casino void my winnings if I use a VPN?
Yes. Hiding your location breaks most casinos’ terms, and the casino can close the account and keep the winnings. Do not use a VPN to reach a casino.
