Almost every casino in our database takes crypto: 55 of the 58 list at least one coin. Accepting Bitcoin says nothing about whether a casino is safe or pays out. Only 15 of these crypto casinos are open, have a confirmed brand and hold a licence we found in a public register. We have not tested any of them ourselves, so this page lists facts, not a ranking.
How a crypto casino works
A crypto casino lets you deposit and withdraw in coins such as Bitcoin, Ethereum or Tether, instead of or as well as cards and bank transfers. The steps are much the same everywhere:
- You buy coins on an exchange and move them to a wallet you control.
- In the casino cashier you pick a coin and a network, and the casino shows a deposit address.
- You send the coins. The deposit is credited once the network confirms it.
- Many casinos show your balance in euros or dollars and convert it back when you withdraw.
- To withdraw, you give your own wallet address. The casino approves the request, sometimes after an ID check, and sends the coins.
The blockchain transfer itself is often quick. The wait usually comes before it, while the casino reviews the withdrawal.
Crypto or card: the main differences
| Point | Crypto | Card or bank |
|---|---|---|
| Reversing a payment | Not possible once sent; no chargeback | A chargeback or bank dispute may be possible |
| Fees | Network fee on each transfer, plus any casino fee | Card or bank fees, sometimes currency conversion |
| Value | Coin prices can move between deposit and withdrawal, except stablecoins | Fixed in your currency |
| ID checks | Still apply, usually before a withdrawal | Apply, and your bank also knows who you are |
| Mistakes | A wrong address or network usually means lost coins | Errors can usually be traced |
Choosing a coin and network
- Bitcoin (BTC) is listed almost everywhere. Fees and confirmation times rise when the network is busy.
- Ethereum (ETH) is also widely listed. Fees depend on the network you send on.
- Stablecoins (USDT, USDC) track the US dollar, which removes most price risk. They run on several networks, and a casino may accept only some of them.
- Litecoin, Dogecoin, Solana and others appear on many cashier lists and often cost less to send.
Always match the network in the cashier to the one you send on. Sending a token on the wrong network is one of the most common ways to lose a deposit.
How we chose
We checked the 58 casinos in our database (see how we review) against four points: the casino lists crypto payments, its licence appears in the Anjouan public register, its official site is confirmed, and it is still open. Fifteen casinos meet all four, and the table lists the 14 we have not ruled out. DaytonaSpin is the fifteenth, but we do not recommend it: Casino Guru gives it a Safety Index of 2.9 and lists unresolved complaints. Lucknation is not counted, because its Anjouan licence expired on 4 October 2026 and our sources list no crypto there.
“Licence confirmed” means we found the casino’s own domain in the Anjouan public licence register on 30 October 2026, with a licence still in date, as set out in our offshore casino licence audit. “No” means we could not confirm a licence. The Curaçao and Tobique registers cannot be searched as a full list, so those claims are unchecked, not proven false.
Payout times below are stated by the casino or reported by the named site. We have not measured them.

Fees, minimums and bonuses
Two layers of cost apply. The network charges a fee for each transfer, and it rises when the network is busy. The casino may add its own withdrawal fee, minimum or maximum, and these are often higher for Bitcoin than for other methods: AeroBet’s minimum withdrawal is €20 in general but €50 in Bitcoin, according to LCB. A crypto bonus works like any other bonus, with wagering, a maximum bet and often a cap on winnings. If the bonus is set in a coin rather than in euros or dollars, its value moves with the coin price.
How to check a crypto casino before you deposit
- Find the licence number and search the regulator’s public register for the casino’s own domain.
- Look for an operator company name in the terms and check that it matches the register.
- Read the withdrawal limits, minimums and fees in the terms, not only in the cashier.
- Read the KYC section to see when documents will be asked for.
- Search for complaints on independent review sites and check whether they were resolved.
Provably fair: what it proves and what it does not
Many crypto casinos offer “provably fair” games, mostly their own dice, crash and similar titles. The casino publishes a scrambled version of a seed before a round, you can add a seed of your own, and afterwards you can check that the result matches. This shows that a single result was not changed after you bet. It does not tell you the house edge, and it says nothing about whether the casino will pay a withdrawal.
What to watch out for
- Licence claims you cannot find. Several crypto casinos claim an Anjouan licence that is not in the register, among them Winairlines, SpinAlto and HappyJokers. A Costa Rica company registration, listed by many others, is not a gambling licence.
- Fast payout claims are not proof. AmonBet states crypto payouts in 0–1 hour, yet AskGamblers lists unresolved complaints about cancelled withdrawals there.
- Deposit turnover rules. Casinacho, Goldzino, LegionBet and SlotLair are reported to require deposits to be wagered three times before any withdrawal. Lizaro charges a 10–15% fee if a deposit is not wagered once.
- Bonus terms. AeroBet’s bonus is reported to carry 700x wagering on table games. Run any offer through our wagering calculator first.
- Coin prices and fees. A coin’s value can fall between deposit and withdrawal, and network fees may apply, as BetRiviera notes.
- ID checks still apply. Paying in crypto does not exempt you from KYC before a withdrawal.

FAQ
Are Bitcoin casinos legal?
That depends on where you live, not on the payment method. Many casinos in our data exclude players from some countries; Dazard, PlayFina and Trixino, for example, restrict the UK and US. Check your own country’s rules before you sign up.
Are crypto withdrawals really instant?
Some casinos and review sites say so, but we have not measured any of them. Pending and verification times come first: LCB gives Luckygem up to two business days pending and Crownslots up to 48 hours.
What is the lowest crypto deposit?
In our data, AeroBet and AvoCasino list €3 by crypto, according to LCB, and NikaCasino €10. Bonus offers usually need a higher deposit.
Do I need my own crypto wallet?
In practice, yes. Withdraw to a wallet you control and keep its recovery phrase safe. Some exchanges limit payments to gambling sites in their own terms, so check them before you send from an exchange account.
Are crypto casino winnings taxed?
It depends on your country. Even where gambling winnings are tax-free, selling or swapping coins can count as a taxable event. Keep records of deposits, withdrawals and conversions, and check with your tax authority.
How do I check a crypto casino’s licence?
Find the licence number in the site footer, then search the regulator’s public register for the casino’s own domain. Our licence audit explains how we did this for 58 casinos.
Gambling is entertainment, not a way to make money. Set a deposit limit before you play. If you have self-excluded in your country, an offshore casino will not honour it, so please do not use one to get around it.
